I thoroughly enjoyed working this pattern and had no issues from start to finish. The instructions were well written, easy to follow, and organized in a way that made the entire process feel smooth and straightforward. From the beginning, it was clear that a lot of thought went into creating a pattern that is both accessible and enjoyable to work. I used it to turn them into snail coasters.
I marked this pattern as intermediate for skill level because of the puff and spike stitches requiring a little more advanced knowledge than your typical single crochet stitches. That said, the designer provides links to videos that guide you step by step through the process. So, if you’re a visual learner, that is an option available with this pattern.
One of the standout features is the quality of the photos included throughout the pattern. The pictures are clear, well-lit, and placed where they are most helpful, making it easy to compare your work to the designer's examples as you go. Combined with the detailed written instructions, they provide excellent guidance and help eliminate any guesswork.
For my project, I used Red Heart Super Saver in Café Latte, Horizon, and Seaweed, and I was very pleased with the finished piece. The pattern lends itself well to showcasing different color combinations, and I enjoyed seeing the design come together as each section was completed.
